Some are, some are not, so read the label per product. The vitamin D3 in Bone Formula is vegan, and many tablets use cellulose capsules or fillers. But the krill oil capsule wall contains fish gelatin, lactoferrin is made from milk protein, and the Bacteri sachets use maltodextrin, inulin and FOS as carriers. Yes. If you use anticoagulants, often called blood thinners, such as coumarin derivatives, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting a product with vitamin K. Vitamin K can affect how those medicines work. This applies to combinations such as Vitamin D3 & K2 Forte and to bone formulas that include K2 as menaquinone-7. Product labels carry the same warning, and it is worth taking seriously rather than treating as small print.
The cPNI products are a separate part of the range, developed for certified PNI therapists rather than for general use. They are usually dosed around a personal plan, with specific timing instructions, and several carry restrictions: some are not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and formulas with St John's wort can interfere with medicines such as antidepressants and sedatives.
