Bonusan Intestinyl Expert (60 capsules) is a dietary supplement with vitamins, minerals, botanicals, enzymes and amino acids in capsule form. The formula includes, among others, active vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid, supplemented with minerals such as magnesium, zinc and calcium from Atlantic marine algae (Aquamin®). It also contains various plant extracts, such as barberry root extract (Berberis vulgaris radix) and ginger rhizome extract (Zingiber officinale rhizoma), each standardised to a specific percentage of active ingredients. Furthermore, the formula includes an enzyme complex (ZyMate® Max) and a fermented berry complex (Berriotics®). The recommended dosage is 3 capsules per day, to be taken with or without a meal.

Bromelain is an enzyme derived from pineapple (Ananas comosus) and papain is an enzyme derived from papaya (Carica papaya). Both are expressed in this product in PU (protease units).
What is the difference between vitamin D2 and vitamin D3?
Vitamin D2 is derived from yeasts and mushrooms, while vitamin D3 is generally of animal or plant origin. This product contains vitamin D3 in the form of plant-based cholecalciferol.
What are amino acids?
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. This product contains, among others, the amino acids taurine, L-threonine, L-glutamine and N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC).
What is inositol?
Inositol is a substance that naturally occurs in, among others, citrus fruits, beans, grains and nuts.
What is Aquamin®?
Aquamin® is a brand name for calcium obtained from calcareous marine algae (Lithothamnium calcareum).
What are active forms of vitamins?
Active forms of vitamins are forms that are directly available, without an intermediate step. Non-active forms first go through several conversion steps before being present in the active form. This product contains, among others, active vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5'-phosphate), active vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and active folic acid (5-MTHF, Quatrefolic®).
