Bonusan Lactoferrin Immune¹ Formula (30 capsules) combines 150 mg lactoferrin, 160 mg purple coneflower extract (Echinacea purpurea) and 100 mg vitamin C per capsule. The lactoferrin comes from the patented raw material Lactoferrin CLN®. This raw material is produced via micro- and ultrafiltration and consists of more than 97% lactoferrin. The purple coneflower extract is made from the above-ground parts of the plant and is standardised to contain at least 4% total phenols. The vitamin C is added as magnesium ascorbate, a buffered form of vitamin C. Take one capsule daily on an empty stomach, so the pack lasts 30 days.

What is lactoferrin and where does it come from?
Lactoferrin is a protein that occurs naturally in milk. This supplement uses an extremely pure form (Lactoferrin CLN®), obtained through micro- and ultrafiltration.
What is the advantage of buffered vitamin C?
Buffered vitamin C is less acidic than pure ascorbic acid and is therefore gentler on the stomach. This product uses ascorbyl palmitate.
What is purple coneflower?
Purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) is a plant from the composite family with purple-pink flowers. The plant originally comes from North America. This product uses an extract of the above-ground parts of the plant, referred to as herba.
What does standardised to at least 4% total phenols mean?
Phenols are plant substances that naturally occur in purple coneflower, such as echinacoside. Standardisation means that the extract always contains at least 4% of these substances. This ensures consistency between different production batches.
Where is vitamin C naturally found?
Vitamin C is naturally found in fruit and vegetables, such as citrus fruit, kiwi, strawberries, peppers, broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
What are micro- and ultrafiltration?
Micro- and ultrafiltration are filtration methods where a liquid is passed through membranes with very small pores. This separates components of different sizes from one another. For lactoferrin, these methods are used to purify the protein from milk.
