Nature's Answer Chaga Mushroom Extract (30 ml) is an alcohol-free liquid extract of the chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus). Chaga naturally grows on birch trees in cold climates and has been used for generations in various traditional herbal and mushroom traditions. This product uses an extract derived from the fruiting body of the mushroom, with each serving providing 1000 mg of chaga extract. The liquid formula is easy to dose and can be added to water, juice, smoothies, or other drinks of your choice.
What is chaga?
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus, birch bracket fungus) is a mushroom that mainly grows on birch trees in cold regions of Northern Europe, Asia, and North America.
What is the difference between chaga tea and chaga extract?
Chaga tea is usually prepared by steeping pieces or powder of the mushroom in hot water, while an extract is a concentrated form that can be used directly.
Why is the fruiting body used?
The fruiting body is the visible part of the mushroom that is traditionally used in foods, extracts, and supplements.
Can chaga be added to drinks?
Yes, the liquid extract can easily be mixed with water, tea, coffee, juice, or smoothies.
Where does the traditional use of chaga come from?
In regions where the mushroom naturally occurs, chaga is mainly used as a hot drink similar to tea. Traditionally, in China it is referred to as ‘chi’, translated as life force. In Russia, chaga is known as the “king of mushrooms”.
What is the Bio-Chelated® Cold Extraction Process?
This is a proprietary extraction process from Nature's Answer in which mushrooms and botanical ingredients are carefully processed with limited exposure to high temperatures.
