BON CHARGE EMF Radiation Free Air Tube Earphones USB-C (1 set) are wired earphones, with the final part to the ears consisting of hollow air tubes. The sound travels through air instead of an electrical wire, so there is no cable running all the way into the ear. Thanks to the USB-C connection, the earphones can be used with most smartphones, tablets and laptops, including iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi and Google Pixel. With the built-in microphone, they're also convenient for phone calls and online meetings. The earbuds are supplied in three sizes and the sports hooks offer extra grip during workouts or on the go. With a 142 cm cable that doesn't tangle easily and a weight of only 24 grams, the earphones are easy to take anywhere.
With regular wired earphones, an electric wire runs all the way to the earbud. With air tube earphones, the signal is converted to sound partway through the cable. That sound then travels the last bit through air in hollow tubes to your ears, similar to how a stethoscope works.
RF stands for radio frequency. RF radiation is a form of electromagnetic radiation used for wireless communication, such as mobile networks, wifi and bluetooth.
Wireless earphones use bluetooth and have a built-in battery that you need to charge. Air tube earphones are wired, don't use bluetooth and don't need recharging. The sound travels through the cable and the last part through air.
The earphones fit in your ear canal, so you'll hear less of what's going on around you. They do not have active noise cancellation.
The earphones are made of plastic, copper and nylon. The earbuds and sports hooks are made of silicone.
Yes, the earphones have a USB-C connection and work with iPhone, Samsung and other brands such as Xiaomi and Google Pixel. Newer iPhones (from iPhone 15 onwards) and most Android phones have a USB-C port. If your phone has a different connection, such as Lightning for older iPhones, you will need a separate adapter. This is not included with the earphones.
