Blueprint Ashwagandha + Rhodiola (30 capsules) contains two widely used plant extracts in one capsule: 120 mg ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera) and 300 mg rhodiola rosea extract, standardised to 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside. Where many ashwagandha supplements only contain root extract, Blueprint uses an extract from both the root and the leaf.
Each batch is independently tested for purity and heavy metals. This product is part of the Blueprint protocol. Within the protocol, it is taken daily at breakfast, together with the Essential Capsules and Advanced Antioxidants.
You can use the supplement daily, but you can also choose to use it for a certain period, for example 6 to 8 weeks, followed by a break. Are you unsure about use? Then consult a professional.
Project Blueprint is Bryan Johnson’s personal lifestyle protocol. Within this protocol, he combines nutrition, exercise, sleep, supplements and regular measurements. Based on those measurements, his routine is continuously monitored and adjusted.
Bryan Johnson uses ashwagandha and rhodiola as part of his daily supplement stack. In the protocol, these herbs are also specifically mentioned in the female protocol.
His protocol includes dozens of supplements, including omega-3 fatty acids, creatine, collagen, NAC (N-acetylcysteine), ashwagandha, curcumin, magnesium and various antioxidants. He categorises them in levels: suitable for everyone, based on personal measurements and experimental.
Yes. Like all Blueprint supplements, Ashwagandha + Rhodiola is tested by an independent laboratory for, among other things, heavy metals and purity. The test results (COAs) are publicly available on the Blueprint website.
Ashwagandha root extract is traditionally the most widely used and naturally contains a broader variety of withanolides. The leaf extract also contains withanolides, but in a slightly different composition. By combining both parts, a broad spectrum of plant substances is obtained.
Ashwagandha can interact with medicines, including thyroid medication. Be careful with rhodiola use if you are taking antidepressants (MAO inhibitors). Always consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking medications.
