BioTechUSA BCAA Zero (700 g) is an amino acid powder with the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine in a 2:1:1 ratio. Each 9 g serving provides 6 g BCAAs: 3 g L-leucine, 1.5 g L-isoleucine, and 1.5 g L-valine. Per serving, the formula also contains 0.7 g L-glutamine and 2 mg vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxine hydrochloride. The L-leucine is included as instant L-leucine, so the powder dissolves easily in 300 ml water in a shaker. A 700 g pack contains 77 servings and lasts 77 days if you take one serving per day. The powder is suitable for vegans and sweetened with sucralose. It is available in various fruit and iced tea flavours. The large pack is practical if BCAA Zero is a fixed part of your training routine and you drink it 15 minutes before your workout.

What is L-leucine?
L-leucine is one of the three branched-chain amino acids and is classed as an essential amino acid. It occurs naturally in protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes and nuts.
What is the difference between essential and non-essential amino acids?
The body can produce non-essential amino acids itself. Essential amino acids cannot be produced by the body and must come from food. L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine are essential. L-glutamine is non-essential.
What is the difference between BCAAs and protein powder?
Protein powder contains complete proteins, which are made up of different amino acids, including BCAAs. BCAA Zero only contains free amino acids: the three BCAAs and L-glutamine.
What is pyridoxine hydrochloride?
Pyridoxine hydrochloride is a form of vitamin B6 that is often used in food supplements. Vitamin B6 occurs naturally in, among other things, meat, fish, wholegrain products, legumes, potatoes, and bananas.
Why is there black tea extract in the iced tea flavours?
The instant extract from black tea leaves (Camellia sinensis) is one of the flavouring ingredients. It is only included in the iced tea flavours.
What is sucralose?
Sucralose is an intense sweetener made from sugar (sucrose). Only a small amount is needed to sweeten a drink.
