BlueprintRaw Macadamias

Only raw macadamia nuts, nothing else. No salt, sugar, palm oil, preservatives, or other additives.

The macadamias are grown in South Africa, hand-selected, and packaged close to the farms. Each batch is tested for heavy metals and other contaminants.

Macadamias contain more monounsaturated fat than most other nuts and are one of the few sources of omega-7 fatty acids. They also have 33% fewer carbohydrates than almonds and 50% fewer than cashew nuts.

Roasting nuts can cause the unsaturated fatty acids to oxidize, reducing their nutritional value. Raw macadamias retain their full fatty acid profile, including omega-7 fatty acids. The flavor is more subtle than that of roasted nuts.

Within Blueprint, macadamias are recommended as a "longevity snack". The recommended serving is 10-12 nuts (approx. 28 g) at any time of the day. These nuts are also included in other Blueprint products such as the Blueberry Nut Mix and the Macadamia Protein Bar.

The nuts are shelf-stable at room temperature, but cooling them after opening helps preserve the natural oils. Macadamias are high in fat and may go rancid faster when exposed to heat and light.

Typical tests screen for heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium), microbiological contamination (molds, bacteria), pesticides, and other unwanted substances.
