Vitals Folate 5-MTHF provides the biologically active form of folate, essential for various body functions such as cell growth and the immune system, packed in 100 vegetarian capsules. The compound pteroylmonoglutamic acid is the most oxidized form of folate and is hardly present in food in this form. The problem with folic acid is that for a relatively large group of people, the conversion to the biologically active 5-MTHF proceeds with difficulty, which may result in supplementation being insufficiently effective and an undesirable accumulation of unmetabolized folic acid can occur.

Note: For optimal effectiveness, use Folate 5-MTHF in combination with a vitamin B-complex and/or a multi (due to synergy between B vitamins). It is important to ensure that with long-term use (> 3 months), the total daily intake of folate does not exceed 1000 mcg.
