It contains, among others, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, biotin, folate (as L-Methylfolate), and B12 (as methylcobalamin). In addition, inositol, choline, and PABA are also added. This supplement is intended for people looking for a broad supplementation of B vitamins in a simple form.
This product contains 55 mg vitamin B6 per daily dose, which is higher than the amount suitable for long-term daily use. Therefore, this product is only intended for short-term use (unless otherwise advised by your doctor). Read the warnings before use.
Folate and folic acid are not exactly the same. Folic acid is a synthetic form that is commonly used in supplements. L-methylfolate is the active form the body uses and has a different chemical structure.
Choline naturally occurs in foods such as eggs, meat, fish, legumes, and some vegetables. It is often added to supplements in the form of choline bitartrate.
PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) is a substance that occurs in small amounts in foods like liver, brewer's yeast, and whole grains.
Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that does not cause the well-known ‘flush’ effect. Vitamin B3 is found in meat, fish, poultry, and whole grains. This form was chosen because of its neutral effect in supplements.
These are two forms of vitamin B6. B6 is found in meat, fish, potatoes, bananas, and grains. Both forms are combined in supplements to provide different properties within one formula.
