What are active B vitamins?
These are the forms of B vitamins that the body can use directly without needing to convert them first. Examples include vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-phosphate), folic acid (5-Methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF)), and vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.
Does the vitamin B3 in this supplement cause a flush?
The "flush" sometimes experienced when using vitamin B3 (niacin) is a temporary reaction where the skin becomes red, warm, and sometimes itchy. The niacinamide in this product is the flush-free variant of vitamin B3.
Are choline, inositol & PABA also B vitamins?
No. These substances are not officially considered B vitamins because they do not meet all the criteria required to be an essential vitamin. They are added to this B-complex due to their complementary properties.
What does µg mean?
µg stands for micrograms. The abbreviation mcg is also used instead of the symbol µg. 1000 µg (or mcg) is equal to 1 milligram (mg).
