Solgar Chelated Solamins Multiminerals (90 tablets) contains a combination of ten minerals, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, manganese, selenium, copper, iodine, and chromium. The minerals are partly present in the well-absorbed bisglycinate form. This product is delivered in a dark glass jar for optimal protection.Â
Bisglycinate is an organically bound mineral form in which the mineral is linked to the amino acid glycine, which ensures a stable compound and less chance of interactions with other nutrients.
By using different compounds, the composition can remain balanced and several minerals can be processed together in one tablet.
In addition to bisglycinate, Solgar Chelated Solamins R Multiminerals also contains calcium carbonate (high content of elemental calcium), magnesium oxide (compact and rich in elemental magnesium), potassium chloride (well-soluble potassium form), L-selenomethionine (organically bound selenium to methionine), potassium iodide (stable iodine source), and chromium picolinate (chromium bound to picolinic acid for a stable compound).
