NOW Foods Organic Pea Protein Powder (680 g) contains pure organic pea protein without added sugars or artificial flavors. This powder is a plant-based protein supplement, popular with vegetarians and vegans. The product contains no dairy or soy. ‘Organic pea protein isolate’ is a highly purified protein source from organically grown yellow peas, from which almost all fats, carbohydrates and fibers have been removed. This results in a plant-based protein powder with a high protein content and a neutral taste.
This supplement provides 14 g protein per 2 scoops (20 grams of powder).
Each serving provides over 2700 mg of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs).
Mix a serving with water, plant-based milk, or add to a smoothie. Use the protein powder after a workout or as a high-protein addition to breakfast or as a snack.
The powder is easy to add to shakes, smoothies or, for example, oatmeal. You can also use it in hot preparations such as pancakes. Just keep in mind that it may affect the texture of your dish.
