NOW Foods Iron Complex Vegetarian (100 tablets) contains 27 mg of iron per tablet in the form of bisglycinate. Iron bisglycinate is better absorbed by the body than other forms of iron. Because it is bound to the amino acid glycine, this form of iron is also gentler on the stomach and intestines. Folic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin C are added as supportive nutrients.
