BON CHARGE Red Light Face Mask (1 piece) is a portable LED mask with 240 LEDs emitting red light at 630 nm and near-infrared light at 850 nm, with a measured irradiance of 40.8 mW/cm². The mask is made of flexible A-grade silicone, weighs only 200 grams and measures 19.5 x 27.5 cm with a thickness of 0.5 cm. You can choose via the controller between red light, near-infrared light or both, and set the session duration from 5 to 30 minutes. The mask stays in place with softly padded Velcro straps and works wirelessly, so you can read, watch TV or relax during a session. The mask charges in 3 to 4 hours and, according to the manufacturer, is suitable for all skin types. The package includes the face mask, a controller, head straps, a storage bag, two eye pads and a USB cable.
A red light face mask is a portable mask with built-in LEDs that emit red and/or near-infrared light. You use it at home as part of your skincare routine.
Red light is within the visible part of the light spectrum; this mask uses a wavelength of 630 nm. Near-infrared light has a longer wavelength, just outside the visible spectrum, and is therefore hardly or not at all visible to the naked eye. This mask uses near-infrared light at 850 nm.
Irradiance indicates how much light power falls on a surface per square centimetre. The manufacturer states a laboratory-measured value of 40.8 milliwatt per square centimetre for this mask.
The manufacturer recommends using the mask several times a week, with sessions of 10 to 20 minutes. With the timer, you can set the session duration from 5 up to a maximum of 30 minutes.
According to the manufacturer, you can use the mask alongside your regular skincare routine. Do not apply products with ingredients that increase skin photosensitivity before a session, and if in doubt, consult a specialist.
The mask comes with two eye pads that are worn over the eyes during a session. According to the manufacturer, you can keep your eyes open while wearing them, for example to read or watch television.
