The supplement contains folic acid in the form of calcium-L-methylfolate, an active and stable form that, unlike synthetic folic acid, does not need to be converted first. This form most closely matches the natural folates found in foods such as leafy greens.

This multivitamin contains both vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7, MK-7). Vitamin K1 is mainly found in green vegetables, while K2 comes from fermented foods such as natto. The combination offers variety in absorption and availability.

The supplement contains a mix of mixed tocopherols, including d-alpha-tocopherol. This form is fat-soluble and naturally occurs in vegetable oils such as soybean oil, from which this variant is derived.

Many vitamins and minerals, like A, D, E, and K, are fat-soluble. By taking the supplement with a meal – ideally with some fat – the absorption of these nutrients is improved.

The used form is zinc citrate, a well-absorbed and commonly used compound. Zinc naturally occurs in meat, fish, grains, and legumes, and is often added to multivitamins as an essential trace element.

Minerals are nutrients the body needs in relatively larger quantities, such as calcium and magnesium. Trace elements, like zinc, selenium, and copper, are also essential like minerals, but are only used in very small amounts.

This formula contains iron as iron bisglycinate, a commonly used chelated form of iron in which the mineral is bound to the amino acid glycine. This form is often chosen for its good tolerance and stability in supplement form.
