Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an herb traditionally used extensively in Ayurveda. This supplement contains a root extract, standardized to 2.5% withanolides. The extract form ensures consistent quality.
Why is vitamin C combined with magnesium in this product?
The vitamin C in this supplement comes from magnesium ascorbate, a compound of magnesium and ascorbic acid. This form is gentle on the stomach and is often used in complexes where multiple nutrients are combined.
Which form of folic acid is in this supplement?
Bonusan Stress B Complex Pro contains folate instead of regular folic acid. 5-MTHF-glucosamine was chosen, under the brand name Quatrefolic®. This form is more common in supplements containing active B-vitamins.
Why does this supplement contain two forms of vitamin B12?
It contains methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, both natural forms of B12. These are often combined in B-complex formulas to provide broad supplementation. Cyanocobalamin, a synthetic form, is not used in this product.
