BONO Vitamin B-Complex (90 plant-based capsules) contains all eight B vitamins as well as choline, inositol and PABA. The complete composition is included in just one daily capsule.
Riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folate contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and biotin contribute to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. Choline contributes to maintaining normal liver function.
We opt for biologically active, co-enzymatic forms. This applies to vitamin B2 as sodium riboflavin-5-phosphate, vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, folate as 5-MTHF under the brand Quatrefolic® and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, two active forms together, in a generous dosage of 250 micrograms per capsule. These are the forms in which these vitamins function as co-enzymes in metabolism, without needing any pre-conversion first. These are also the forms in which B vitamins are often found in food. The choline comes from Vitacholine®.
Vitamin B12 is found in the diet almost exclusively in animal products and is therefore a known point of attention for those who eat vegetarian or vegan. BONO Vitamin B-Complex is suitable for vegans: the vitamins are of non-animal origin and the capsule is plant-based.
The product is produced in the Netherlands. We use rice concentrate as an anti-caking agent. Furthermore, the capsules contain no synthetic fragrances or colourings and no gelatine.

What is Quatrefolic® folate?
Quatrefolic® is the patented form 5-MTHF glucosamine salt: a biologically active form of folate. Unlike synthetic folic acid, Quatrefolic® does not need to be converted to 5-MTHF. This means this form is directly available for use in the body.
What is the difference between active and regular forms of B vitamins?
Regular forms of B vitamins must first be converted to their active form. Active B vitamins are forms that better match the form in which the body uses them.
Why does this formula contain both methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin?
These are both forms of vitamin B12, each fulfilling a different, unique role in your body. They are biologically available, which means your body can absorb them directly without the need for conversion.
Can I take a B-complex for fatigue?
Yes, a B-complex can be used when support is needed for energy metabolism. Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12 activate your natural energy in the body. Together with folate, they contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Why does this B-complex contain more than 100% NRV?
The NRV, or Nutrient Reference Value, is a guideline for the average daily need of adults. It is not a maximum dosage. For this B-complex, a generous yet responsible dosage has been chosen. Consideration has been given to the NRV, the selected active forms of B vitamins, and the balance within the formula.
Is this B-complex suitable for children?
No, it is formulated for adults. Due to the amount of vitamin B6, there is a warning that the supplement is not suitable for children up to and including 10 years old.
