Vitakruid GlucoSil Gel (150 ml) is a gel for external use, with a combination of glucosamine (sulphate), chondroitin (sulphate), MSM and organic silicon (methylsilanol) in a liquid blend. The blend consists of at least 2% glucosamine, about 1% MSM and 0.5% chondroitin. The gel is supplemented with essential oils of savory, thyme, wintergreen, common thyme, lavender and eucalyptus, and is easy to apply by massaging onto the skin. The recommended use is to massage onto muscles and joints 3 times a day in circular motions.
Glucosamine is a substance obtained from shellfish shells or produced via fermentation. In this product, glucosamine is included in the form of glucosamine sulphate, where glucosamine is bound to a sulphate group. This salt form is widely used due to its stability as a raw material.
Chondroitin is a substance obtained from animal cartilage tissue, for example from cattle or fish. In this product, chondroitin is included in the form of chondroitin sulphate, where chondroitin is bound to a sulphate group.
Essential oils are concentrated, volatile oils extracted from plants and often have a characteristic scent. This product contains a blend of 6 different essential oils.
This product contains essential oils of savory (Satureia montana), thyme (Thymus satureioides), wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens), common thyme (Thymus vulgaris), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus).
Organic silicon, also known as methylsilanol, is a form of silicon used as part of the gel formula in this product. In this formula, silicon binds to other molecules within the mixture.
This percentage indicates how much of the total liquid mixture consists of glucosamine. This is stated so that the exact composition of the gel is clear and verifiable.
