What is mastic gum?
Mastic gum is a natural resin obtained from the trunk and branches of the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus), a shrub-like tree species found mainly in the Mediterranean, especially on the Greek island of Chios.
Is mastic gum the same as chewing gum?
No, although mastic gum is sometimes used as a natural chewing gum, in supplement form it is a dried and encapsulated extract of the resin. The applications and forms are therefore different.
What is Slippery Elm?
Slippery Elm is the English name for the bark of Ulmus rubra, or red elm. The inner bark contains mucilage that, when mixed with water, forms a gel-like substance.
Is Slippery Elm the same as regular elm?
No, Ulmus rubra (red elm) is a separate species and differs from the European or white elm (Ulmus laevis or Ulmus americana). Only red elm is used for this type of supplement.
What is PepZin GI® in Ulcetrol?
PepZin GI® is a combination of zinc and L-carnosine, specially developed as a supplement to a balanced diet.
How long can Ulcetrol be used?
