NOW Foods Micellar Casein Unsweetened Powder (816 grams) offers a source of high-quality protein in a pure, neutral form without added flavorings or sweeteners. The product consists of micellar casein, known for its slow absorption in the body. This powder is widely used by athletes and people with an active lifestyle who want to support their daily protein intake. It dissolves easily and is suitable for mixing with other ingredients. The neutral taste makes it versatile for use in various recipes or shakes.
Micellar casein is a slowly digestible milk protein that naturally occurs in milk and constitutes about 80% of the total protein content of cow's milk. It is obtained by filtering milk without heating or chemical processing, which preserves the micelle structure.
It is recommended to use this product before bedtime due to its slow absorption. Another option is in the afternoon between meals, when you cannot eat protein for several hours.
Micellar casein is suitable for adding to both cold and hot dishes, as long as extreme heating is avoided.
