BON CHARGE Mini Red Light Device (1 piece) is a compact, rechargeable panel with 12 LEDs that emit red light at 660 nm and near-infrared light at 850 nm. Measuring 15 x 9.5 cm, it's large enough for, for example, a shoulder, knee or the face, and small enough to take with you anywhere. Hold the device 10 to 30 cm from the area you want to illuminate, or place it on the stand so you can relax hands-free. The device charges in about 2 hours and works wirelessly, whether you are at home, in the office or travelling. The package includes the device, a USB charger, a travel case and safety goggles.
The light from the LEDs is bright. With the provided safety goggles, you will not look directly into the light, especially if you use the device near your face.
Red light has been offered for years in salons and clinics. With your own device, you can use red light at home, at a time that's convenient for you and without making appointments. Because the Bullet is small and cordless, you can use it anywhere, at home, in the gym or while travelling.
Some of the LEDs emit near-infrared light at 850 nm. This light is not visible to the naked eye, so those LEDs may appear off but they are in fact working.
The housing is made of iron. The device weighs 730 grams.
The strength of the light is expressed in irradiance: the amount of light power falling on the skin per square centimetre. The Mini has an irradiance of more than 100 mW/cm² (milliwatt per square centimetre). Each of the 12 LEDs has a power of 3 watts, and the total power of the device is 36 watts.
The further you hold the device from your skin, the more the light spreads out. At a short distance, the light is concentrated on a small surface, so the irradiance is higher. At greater distances, you treat a larger area, but with less light per square centimetre. That’s why a distance of 10 to 30 cm is recommended.
