Who is a high dosage of iron suitable for?

What is Ferrochel® iron bisglycinate?

Ferrochel® iron bisglycinate is a patented form of iron where the mineral iron is bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine. It is well absorbed and gentle on the stomach, making it often well-tolerated.

Do women need more iron than men?

Yes, women generally need more iron than men, especially during their reproductive years. This is because of the loss of iron due to menstruation. After menopause, the need for iron decreases.
