Bonusan Protein Powder Complex Chocolate (500 grams) is a protein supplement based on pure whey protein isolate (Provon®) with a protein content of 90% and a low lactose content (maximum 1%). This powder is ideal for those looking for a protein source with a complete amino acid profile. The formula is enriched with an enzyme mix (BioCore® AminoTap) and zinc citrate, and features a pleasant chocolate flavor. This product is suitable for athletes, active individuals or anyone who wants to add protein to his or her diet.
Whey protein isolate is a highly purified form of protein from milk, with a very high protein content and low fat and lactose content. This form is widely used in protein supplements because of its concentrated composition.
This means that the powder contains virtually no milk sugar, making it suitable for those who consciously choose a low lactose content.
This is a combination of specific enzymes (including proteases) derived from fermentation processes with fungi such as Aspergillus oryzae and A. niger. These enzymes are often used in protein products as an additional component.
The powder can be used at any time of day. Many people choose to take it after a workout or as a supplement to a meal.
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Essential amino acids are those that people obtain through their diet. Non-essential amino acids are also present in food and are often mentioned as amino acids that can also be formed from other nutrients. In this protein powder, both types are present as part of the whey protein isolate.
