Hydrolysed collagen is collagen that has been broken down into smaller peptides through a process of hydrolysis. This makes it more soluble than collagen in its original, unbroken form.

Collagen naturally occurs in connective tissue, skin and bones of animals. It is not directly found in most processed meat products, but it is present for example in bone broth.
Both are forms of vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is the most commonly used, pure form, while calcium ascorbate is a buffered form in which the acid is bound to calcium.
Vitamin C naturally occurs in fruit and vegetables, such as citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, pepper and broccoli.
