One capsule provides 100 mg of this bacteria strain blend, good for 5 billion live cultures. The capsules are vegetarian/vegan. One pack contains 60 capsules, sufficient for two months of daily use.
Lactobacillus is a genus of bacteria that belongs to the lactic acid bacteria. These bacteria occur naturally in fermented foods and are also used in food supplements.
CFU stands for colony forming units. This is the unit used to express the number of live bacteria in a supplement.
Lactobacillus bacteria naturally occur in fermented foods, such as yoghurt, sauerkraut, kimchi and other fermented vegetables.
Lactobacillus reuteri, rhamnosus, acidophilus and crispatus are each separate species within the genus Lactobacillus, which differ from each other in their specific properties.
Inulin is a plant-based fibre that naturally occurs in, among others, chicory, onion and garlic. In this product it is added as part of the formula.
