NOW Foods Female Balance (90 vegetarian capsules) contains a balanced mix including Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis), Vitex agnus-castus, black cohosh (Cimicifuga), ginger and vitamin B6. This supplement was developed with women from around 45 years old in mind. Female Balance is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The formula is free from artificial colourings and preservatives.

What is Black Cohosh?
Black Cohosh is the name for Cimicifuga racemosa (or Actaea racemosa) and black cohosh. It is a plant native to North America, whose root is traditionally used in herbal supplements.
When shouldn’t you use black cohosh?
This product is not suitable for children up to and including 17 years old. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor if you have a history of liver disease, or if you are undergoing or have undergone treatment for (hormone-sensitive) cancer.
What are agnuside and aucubin?
Agnuside and aucubin are plant compounds naturally occurring in the Vitex agnus-castus plant and are responsible for most of the herb’s benefits.
What is Dong Quai?
Dong Quai is a herb derived from the Angelica sinensis plant and has been used for centuries in traditional Asian herbalism.
