NORSAN Omega-3 Total Oil (200 ml) combines high-quality natural fish oil with organic extra virgin olive oil in a liquid formula for daily use. Each daily dose of 8 ml provides 2000 mg omega 3 fatty acids, including EPA, DHA and DPA, supplemented with vitamin D3 and vitamin E. The oil is available with a mild, neutral taste or a fresh lemon flavour due to the addition of natural lemon oil. The liquid formula is easy to dose and can be taken on its own or added to a smoothie or salad.

Omega 3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids that naturally occur in oily fish, shellfish, crustaceans, algae and certain plant oils. The most well-known forms are EPA, DHA and ALA.
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and DPA (docosapentaenoic acid) are different omega 3 fatty acids that naturally occur in fish oil. EPA and DHA are the most common forms in marine oils, while DPA is usually present in smaller amounts and provides a natural addition to the fatty acid profile.
Omega 3 fatty acids and the added vitamins D and E are fat-soluble. Therefore, it is recommended to take the oil during or immediately after a meal, preferably a meal containing fat.
Vitamin D naturally occurs in oily fish, egg yolk, liver and cod liver oil. In addition, vitamin D is often added to foods and food supplements.
Vitamin E naturally occurs in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, avocado and green leafy vegetables. It consists of a group of compounds known as tocopherols and tocotrienols.
