What are omega-3 fatty acids?

What is the difference between EPA and DHA?
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are two different omega-3 fatty acids that naturally occur in fish oil. Both are part of the natural fatty acid profile of fish.
Where is vitamin D naturally found?
Vitamin D is naturally found in oily fish, cod liver oil, liver and egg yolk. In addition, vitamin D is often added to foods and food supplements.
Why do you take omega-3 during a meal?
Omega-3 fatty acids are fats and vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin. Therefore, it is recommended to take the gummies during or directly after a meal, preferably a meal containing fat.
From what age can I give my child these gummies?
The gummies are not suitable for children under the age of 3. For younger children, Norsan recommends the liquid omega-3 products, either directly or via supplementation for the mother during breastfeeding. The liquid Norsan oils can be used by children of any age, provided the dosage is adjusted.
Do the gummies contain added sugars?
No. The gummies do not contain added sugars. The sweet taste comes from the sweeteners xylitol and sorbitol.
