H2Tab Hydrogen Bath Tablets (60 tablets) contain elemental magnesium in combination with a blend of acids. After being added to water, the tablets dissolve completely, and by reacting with magnesium, molecular hydrogen (H₂) is produced. The tablets are designed to dissolve fully in bath or footbath water, releasing hydrogen gas. Use is simple: add the tablets to the water, allow them to dissolve completely and your bath is ready to use. For a standard bath, use 1 tablet per 19 litres of water, which is about 15 to 20 tablets for a fully filled bath. With 60 tablets per pack, this is enough for about 3 to 4 baths. The dosage may be adjusted as desired, for example for a smaller tub or a footbath.
What is molecular hydrogen?
Molecular hydrogen (H₂) is the smallest and lightest molecule, consisting of two hydrogen atoms. In this product, hydrogen gas is produced at the moment the tablet dissolves in water.
What is elemental magnesium?
Elemental magnesium is the pure form of the mineral magnesium, without being bound to any other substance. In this product, elemental magnesium reacts with the added acids, causing hydrogen gas to be released as soon as the tablet dissolves in water.
How many tablets do you need for a bath?
For a standard bath, approximately 1 tablet per 19 litres (5 gallons) of water is used, which comes down to about 15 to 20 tablets per fully filled bath.

How do the tablets produce hydrogen gas?
A magnesium-based reaction is used. One of the main ingredients in the tablets is elemental magnesium, which reacts with water to produce molecular hydrogen gas (H₂). As the tablet dissolves, nanobubbles filled with hydrogen gas are created. These bubbles disperse throughout the water, resulting in a bath saturated with molecular hydrogen.
Can you add other bath products?
Yes, you can add oils, salts, or other bath products. However, wait until the tablets have fully dissolved so the hydrogen has had time to spread throughout the water.
Can you use them in cold water as well?
Yes, the bath tablets can also be used in cold water or a cold plunge. Note: in cold water the tablets dissolve a bit more slowly, but they still continue to generate hydrogen gas.
