H2Tab Hydrogen Bath Tablets (60 tablets) contain elemental magnesium in combination with natural acids. The tablets have been developed to dissolve completely in bath or foot bath water, during which hydrogen gas is released. Use is simple: add the tablets to the water, let them dissolve completely, and the bath is ready for use. For a standard bath, use 1 tablet per 19 litres of water, which comes down to about 15 to 20 tablets per fully filled bathtub. With 60 tablets per pack, this is enough for approximately 3 to 4 baths. The dosage can be adjusted as desired, for example for a smaller tub or a foot bath.
What is molecular hydrogen?
Molecular hydrogen (H2) is the smallest and lightest molecule, consisting of two hydrogen atoms. In this product, hydrogen gas is generated at the moment the tablet dissolves in water.
What is elemental magnesium?
Elemental magnesium is the pure form of the mineral magnesium, not bonded to any other constituent. In this product, elemental magnesium reacts with the added acids, causing hydrogen gas to be released as soon as the tablet dissolves in water.
How many tablets do you need for a bath?
For a standard bathtub, about 1 tablet per 19 litres (5 gallons) of water is used, which amounts to about 15 to 20 tablets per fully filled bathtub.
Can you drink these bath tablets?
No, these tablets have been developed for use in bath or foot bath water and are not intended for internal use.
How do the tablets create hydrogen gas?
A magnesium-based reaction is used. One of the main ingredients in the tablets is elemental magnesium, which reacts with water to create molecular hydrogen gas (H₂). As the tablet dissolves, nanobubbles filled with hydrogen gas are formed. These bubbles disperse throughout the water, creating a bath that is saturated with molecular hydrogen.
Can you add other bath products?
Yes, you can add oils, salts or other bath products. Just make sure to wait until the tablets have dissolved completely, so that the hydrogen has had time to disperse through the water.
Can you use them in cold water?
Yes, the bath tablets can also be used in cold water or a cold plunge. Note: the tablets dissolve somewhat more slowly in cold water, but they will continue to generate hydrogen gas.
