What is Project Blueprint?
Project Blueprint is the personal health protocol of Bryan Johnson. It consists of a carefully structured routine of nutrition, exercise, sleep, supplements, and regular measurements. Based on these measurements, his routine is continuously evaluated and adjusted where necessary.
Why does Bryan Johnson take omega-3 fatty acids?
Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) are important nutrients. Within the Blueprint protocol, Bryan Johnson sees omega-3 as one of the basic supplements for everyone.
Why choose microalgae oil instead of fish oil?
Fish do not produce omega-3 themselves, but obtain it from the algae they eat. By deriving omega-3 directly from algae, the formula is plant-based and free from exposure to ocean contaminants.
Does Blueprint Omega-3 have a fishy aftertaste?
No, Blueprint Omega-3 is made from algae oil and not fish oil. Therefore, the product has no fishy aftertaste. The capsules also have a subtle citrus flavor.
How does Blueprint Omega-3 differ from other omega-3 supplements?
Blueprint Omega-3 combines a high dose of 800 mg omega-3 per daily serving with a 1:1 ratio of EPA and DHA. In addition, Blueprint uses a delayed-release capsule, the formula is vegan, and the product is independently tested.
Is this supplement tested for quality and purity?
Yes, all Blueprint supplements are tested by third parties. Typical tests check for heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium), microbiological contamination (fungi, bacteria), pesticides, and other unwanted substances.
Is Blueprint Omega-3 suitable for people with a fish allergy?
Yes, because the product does not contain fish, it is suitable for people who want to avoid fish.
