PQQ is a substance that naturally occurs in small amounts in certain foods, such as fermented soy (natto), green peppers, parsley, spinach, and kiwi.

Vitamin B12 is often combined with PQQ in supplements. In this product, adenosylcobalamin is chosen, a specific form of B12 that belongs to the biologically active forms.

Adenosylcobalamin is one of the natural forms of vitamin B12, just like methylcobalamin. Other forms, such as cyanocobalamin, are often used because of their stability, but must first be converted. Some supplements contain the active forms directly.
