Bonusan FibroPur Complete (350 grams) is a mix of whey protein isolate, glutamine, soluble dietary fibers, and enzymes. The formula contains protein isolate (Provon®) with a very low lactose content (maximum 1%), combined with fibers from Nutriose®, inulin, and FOS. In addition, enzymes from various microbial and plant sources have been added, including bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya. FibroPur Complete is developed for people looking for a balanced addition to their daily diet. Thanks to its powdered form, it is easy to add to smoothies or shakes.
Whey protein isolate is a more purified form of whey protein and contains less fat and carbohydrates than concentrate. The variant used (Provon®) contains a maximum of 1% lactose.
The L-glutamine in this formula is synthetically produced via fermentation and is added as a free amino acid, making it easily soluble in liquids.
Nutriose® is a soluble corn dextrin with a high content of fermentable fibers. It is often used in fiber mixes due to its good solubility and neutral taste.
The enzyme complex contains various types of enzymes such as amylase, lipase, and protease, each with its own specific function in breaking down macronutrients in food. The enzymes are sourced from micro-organisms and plants such as pineapple and papaya.
Bromelain is an enzyme derived from pineapple and papain comes from papaya. Both are widely used in dietary supplements.
The powder is best mixed with cold or lukewarm drinks. Avoid high temperatures to preserve the enzyme activity.
