Vitakruid B12 1000 mcg Methylcobalamin (90 and 180 tablets) is a dietary supplement with a high dose of B12 in the biologically active form methylcobalamin. These tablets dissolve under the tongue, allowing vitamin B12 to be absorbed through the oral mucosa. The lozenges have a pleasant slightly sweet taste and are ideal as a daily supplement. Methylcobalamin is a biologically active form of B12 that does not need to be converted in the body. This offers advantages compared to the common, non-active forms of vitamin B12.
Vitamin B12 can be absorbed through the oral mucosa (sublingually), bypassing the gastrointestinal tract. A lozenge therefore ensures quicker and better absorption of vitamin B12.
