Jarrow Formulas Curcumin Phytosome 500 mg (60 and 120 capsules) is a dietary supplement with curcumin phytosome extract, a patented form of curcumin bound to phosphatidylcholine. Each capsule contains 500 mg Meriva® curcumin phytosome, a special extract from turmeric (Curcuma longa).
Curcumin phytosome is a patented form of curcumin where curcumin is bonded to phosphatidylcholine, a substance derived from sunflower lecithin.
Curcumin is found in turmeric, a spice often used in Asian cuisine.
Regular curcumin has low bioavailability. The phospholipids in Meriva® help improve curcumin absorption.
