BON CHARGE Infrared Sauna Blanket (1 piece) is a portable sauna blanket for a sauna session in your own home. The blanket works with far-infrared heat and can be set via the remote control from 25 to 80 °C, with a timer from 5 to 60 minutes. With a size of 180 x 90 cm, it's suitable for people up to about 2 metres tall, with your head and neck remaining outside the blanket during the session. The blanket is made up of multiple layers, including a PU leather exterior, cotton inner layers, an insulation layer and a waterproof PVC inner lining, and fastens with adjustable Velcro. After use, the blanket can be wiped clean and stored in the supplied carry bag in half a minute. The package contains the sauna blanket, a power adapter, a remote control and a carry bag.
An infrared sauna blanket is a heated blanket that you lie in for a sauna session. Instead of heating the air, like a traditional sauna, the blanket emits heat through infrared radiation. This makes a sauna session possible at home, without needing a permanent sauna.
Infrared is an invisible part of the light spectrum that you feel as heat. Far infrared has the longest wavelengths within this spectrum. Infrared sauna cabins also use far-infrared.
Both use far-infrared heat. A sauna blanket takes up much less space, can be folded up and stored after use, and is cheaper to buy. Plus, you are closer to the heat source in the blanket than in a cabin.
The recommended frequency is about 2 to 3 times per week.
The blanket is suitable for people up to about 2 metres (6 foot 7 inches) tall. Your head and neck should always remain outside the blanket during the session.
The blanket has an SAA certification for electrical safety. In addition, it has been tested by SGS for 197 substances, including formaldehyde and substances of very high concern (SVHC), and the blanket meets all parts of that test. The blanket also has a RoHS conformity certificate according to the European directive 2011/65/EU.
