What FUELR makes
FUELR is an Australian sports nutrition brand with a deliberately short range: energy gels. The isotonic gel holds 25 g of hydrolysed carbohydrates, mostly maltodextrin. Isotonic means the fluid balance of the gel sits close to that of your body, so it is absorbed without extra water. Each gel also carries vitamins B6, B9 and B12. Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Folate (vitamin B9) helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
The caffeinated gel adds 200 mg of natural caffeine from green tea extract, plus beta-alanine and L-citrulline. Caffeine, beta-alanine and L-citrulline have no authorised health claims in the UK or the EU. So we tell you what is in the gel, and we do not promise what it will do. 200 mg is a firm dose, roughly two cups of coffee. The off-centre resealable nozzle lets you take half now and the rest later, which is the reason many riders and runners pick it: less caffeine at once, and no sticky fingers.
How the two gels are used

FUELR gels are HASTA certified. HASTA is an Australian laboratory scheme that tests sports supplements for substances on the WADA prohibited list, and certified products are batch tested.
