BioTechUSA Nitrox Therapy (680 g) is a pre-workout formula with amino acids such as L-arginine, L-citrulline and beta-alanine, supplemented with BCAAs, creatine and caffeine. In addition, the powder contains a mix of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B3, B6, magnesium, iron, zinc, and chromium. The formula is easily soluble in water. Nitrox Therapy is available in four flavors: peach, tropical fruits, blue grape and cranberry.
L-arginine hydrochloride is a simple salt form of arginine, while AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate) is a compound of arginine and alpha-ketoglutarate. By adding both forms, the variation in solubility and application possibilities within the formula is increased.
Citrulline is another amino acid closely related to arginine. It is often combined with arginine in pre-workouts because both are used in different ways within sports nutrition.
The BCAAs in Nitrox Therapy consist of L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine in a 2:1:1 ratio. These are branched-chain amino acids often added to sports nutrition because they belong to the essential amino acids and must be supplemented through the diet.
Citrate and fumarate are organic compounds naturally occurring in the citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle). In supplements, they are often added as stable compounds to complete the formula.
Maltodextrin is added as a fast source of carbohydrates in the powder. It also ensures better solubility and texture in the drink.
