Solgar Vitamin E 268 mg Complex (50 or 100 softgels) contains a natural form of vitamin E, D-alpha tocopherol, together with mixed tocopherols such as D-beta, D-gamma, and D-delta tocopherol. The product comes in a dark glass container to ensure protection against oxygen, moisture, and light. The softgels contain vegetable oils such as safflower oil and are easy to take.Â
Mixed tocopherols are different natural forms of vitamin E, such as D-beta, D-gamma, and D-delta tocopherol, which are present together in this softgel.
D-alpha tocopherol is the most well-known and commonly used form of vitamin E in supplements. The other tocopherols, such as D-gamma and D-delta, are additional forms that naturally occur in vegetable oils and are included in this complex along with D-alpha tocopherol.
Safflower oil is added as a filler and contributes to the soft consistency of the softgel. It is a vegetable oil suitable for use in fat-soluble supplements like vitamin E.
