Isoflavones are plant-based compounds that naturally occur in soybeans and other legumes. They have long been part of traditional diets, especially in Asian countries. Each capsule contains a fixed amount of soy germ powder.
A supplement with soy isoflavones is mainly used by women aged 40 and over.
This supplement contains a standardized amount of soy isoflavones, which means you know exactly how much you are getting per capsule. In food, the amount of isoflavones can vary greatly depending on the product and preparation method. This supplement therefore provides a more consistent intake.
These are natural plant-based compounds. The best-known soy isoflavones are genistein, daidzein, and glycitein.
