Choline and inositol are nutrients that are often used together with B vitamins in supplements. Choline occurs naturally in foods such as eggs, liver, beef, chicken, fish, peanuts, and soy. Inositol can be found in fruits (such as melon and citrus fruits), beans, whole grains, and nuts. They are regularly added to B-complex formulas as a supplement to the standard B vitamins.

PABA stands for para-aminobenzoic acid. It is a substance that is related to the B vitamin complex, but is not itself a vitamin. PABA occurs naturally in small amounts in liver, eggs, milk, spinach, and whole grains. In supplements, it is sometimes added to B-complex products as an extra component within the formula.

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that is often chosen because, unlike niacin, it does not cause a 'flush'. Naturally, vitamin B3 occurs in meat, fish, poultry, whole grains, and nuts.

Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate, a B vitamin found in green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, legumes, and avocado. In this supplement, 400 mcg folic acid corresponds to 665 mcg DFE (Dietary Folate Equivalents), a measure that accounts for absorption differences between forms.

Biotin occurs naturally in eggs (especially the yolk), nuts, seeds, fish, and sweet potatoes. In supplements, pure biotin is often used in microgram doses because of the low daily requirement.

Pantothenic acid is a B vitamin naturally present in almost all animal and plant foods. In supplements, it is often added as d-calcium pantothenate, a stable form that can be well processed in capsules.
