OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) are bioflavonoids that occur naturally in plants, especially in grapeseeds, pine bark and certain berries. They are composed of building blocks such as catechin and epicatechin and belong to the polyphenols.
Is grapeseed extract the same as resveratrol?
No. Grapeseed extract mainly contains oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), while resveratrol is a specific polyphenol from grape skins.
