What is EGCG and why is it in this product?
EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) is a natural substance found in green tea. In Critical Greens, it is part of the green tea extract (95%). It is often used in superfood supplements because of its plant-based origin.
What does it mean that the ingredients are in extract form?
Extract form means that the active components from plants or vegetables are concentrated. For example, 4:1 beetroot extract provides four times the amount of the original material in a smaller dosage.
Why is it recommended not to take it on an empty stomach?
Some ingredients, such as green tea extract or ginger, can temporarily cause an unpleasant feeling on an empty stomach. That is why it is advised to use the product with or after a meal.
