NOW Foods Iron Complex Vegetarian Tablets contains iron, which transports oxygen to cells throughout the body in red blood cells. Iron is also needed to produce energy in cells and contributes to normal immune system function. The added vitamins B12 and folic acid are essential for the production of red blood cells as well as for absorption of iron from the gastrointestinal tract. Because iron is mostly found in animal products, iron deficiency is more common among vegetarians. The tablets are therefore vegetarian and designed to prevent constipation. Natural color variations may occur with this product.

Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 50 mg, 56% Folic acid 333 mcg, DFE (200 mcg folic acid), 83% Vitamin B12 (as cyanocobalamin) 50 mcg, 2083% Iron (from Ferrochel® Iron Bisglycinate) 27 mg, 150% Organic Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis) (Rhizome/Root) 100 mg, Red Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) (Leaf) 100 mg. Other ingredients: Cellulose, Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Croscarmellose Sodium, Silica, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source) and Vegetarian Coating. Not manufactured with ingredients of wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish or nuts. Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Instructions for use
Take 1 tablet daily with meals. After opening, store in a cool, dry place.
