NOW Foods Glutathione 500 mg (30, 60 and 120 capsules) contains glutathione, a small peptide molecule made up of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. This product also contains milk thistle extract and alpha-lipoic acid as additional ingredients. Milk thistle extract is obtained from the seeds of the Silybum marianum plant and naturally contains silymarin. Alpha-lipoic acid is an organic sulfur-containing molecule, often used in combination with other nutrients. Each capsule contains 500 mg of free form glutathione and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

So far so great!

I have been using these supplements for more than 2 weeks now (plus vitamin C 1000 mg for an extra boost) and I already see a big difference in the reduction of my hyperpigmentation on my face! No “vitamin C serum” or any kind of miracle skincare product has worked on my face when it comes to reducing hyperpigmentation, but this combination of glutathione plus vitamin C supplements has helped enormously within 2 weeks! Not only does it reduce my hyperpigmentation on my face, but also the inflammation in my body. I also take vitamin B5 250 mg, and maybe that has also contributed to this quick change! If no skincare product works for your hyperpigmentation, I would recommend these supplements and possibly take them with vitamin C and/or vitamin B5 for an extra boost. Tip: take these supplements on an empty stomach!
