The formula also contains minerals such as magnesium, zinc, copper, and iodine. In addition, plant extracts have been added, including cinnamon and fenugreek, as well as extra ingredients like alpha-lipoic acid, quercetin, inositol, and L-carnitine. This supplement provides a broad combination of micronutrients and additional compounds, with just two tablets per day as the recommended dosage.
Bisglycinate is a form where the mineral is bound to two molecules of glycine, an amino acid. These so-called amino acid chelates are intended to be well absorbable.
Vitamins in supplements can occur in different forms. Active forms are chemically identical to the forms found in food or living organisms. Inactive forms are structurally different and are often chosen because of their stability or suitability for processing in tablets and capsules.
Magnesium oxide contains a relatively high amount of elemental magnesium but is less soluble. Magnesium citrate is more soluble and therefore often better absorbed. By combining both forms, both the quantity and the availability are balanced.
