The CHI G2 Ceramic & Titanium flat iron is a high-quality tool designed for all hair types. Follow these simple steps to style your hair with the CHI G2 flat iron:
- Ensure your hair is dry and tangle-free before using the flat iron.
- Plug the flat iron into an outlet and turn it on using the power button. The flat iron features an automatic shut-off function after 1 hour.
- Determine your hair type and select the correct temperature setting based on the color coding:
- BLUE: 0 - 185 degrees - for fine/fragile hair
- GREEN: 190 - 200 degrees - for medium/wavy hair
- RED: 205 - 215 degrees - for coarse/thick hair
- Wait 40 seconds until the flat iron has heated up to the chosen temperature. The digital temperature display will show the current temperature.
- Apply a heat-protectant product to your hair to shield it from the flat iron's heat.
- Divide your hair into sections and start styling from the lower sections. Clamp the flat iron about 1 inch (2.5 cm) away from your scalp and slowly glide it down the length of your hair. Repeat this process for the remaining sections.
- After use, turn off the flat iron and unplug it from the outlet. Allow it to cool on a heat-resistant surface before storing.
