S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione (SAG) (30 and 90 capsules) is a derivative of glutathione, which consists of three amino acids: glutamine, cysteine, and glycine. Due to the added acetyl group, S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione is an optimized form of glutathione. Vitakruid S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione contains 100 mg per capsule and has the added benefit of being acid-resistant. Available in 30 and 90 vegan capsules.

What are acid-resistant capsules?
Acid-resistant capsules are specially designed to protect their contents from the acidic environment of the stomach. They have a coating that is resistant to stomach acid, but dissolves in the less acidic environment of the small intestine.
What is the difference between regular glutathione and S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione?
Regular glutathione (GSH) and S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione (SAG) differ in chemical structure. An acetyl group is added to S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione. This modification protects the substance from enzymatic breakdown and makes it more stable. S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione is therefore considered the superior form.
