Solgar Formula VM-Prime Multivitamin (60 tablets) is a broadly formulated supplement with vitamins, minerals, and extra substances such as choline, inositol, and bioflavonoids. The formula contains, among other things, vitamin C, E, D2, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and a mix of natural carotenoids. This combination is tailored to the needs of seniors and contains several vitamins in high percentages of the recommended daily allowance. With just 1 to 2 tablets per day, it provides a simple addition to the daily diet.Â
You can see different colored speckles on the outside of the tablets. Because this product does not have a coating, you see these colors from the various substances contained in the VM-Prime.
Magnesium is present as oxide (high elemental content) and bisglycinate (well tolerated). Calcium is added as carbonate (concentrated) and bisglycinate (bound to amino acids).
This formula contains natural D-alpha-tocopherol succinate, a well-absorbed form of vitamin E from a natural source.
The supplement contains vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol); this is a plant-based form of vitamin D and suitable for vegetarians.
