Vitals Boswellia-AF (AprèsFlex®) 100mg (60 capsules) contains a modern form of boswellia extract. This AprèsFlex® is standardized to 20% acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid (AKBA).
Boswellia is the resin derived from the tropical incense tree Boswellia serrata. When the bark of the tree naturally cracks or is purposefully incised, a sticky substance is released. This substance is known as a gum resin because it contains components soluble in both water (gum) and alcohol (resin).
AprèsFlex® is a specific form of boswellia extract developed with attention to absorption and composition.
Boswellia is available in capsules, tablets, powders, and oils.
Boswellia is an extract from the resin of a tree and is not found in regular foods.
